Living in a world where every move is noticed, every action is suspicious, the fear of being vaporized at any given time. The world in 1984 is different and special. The world of 1984 is controlled by totalitarianism control. Like the days of Hitler, the lives of every single citizen is controlled by the party, the citizens have no idea of past life and experiences as it has been completely revamped by the party as they see fit.
As the readers continue on reading the novel, they realize the world they live in is actually much better than they think. The world of 1984 has little to no freedom with a great deal of censorship and little opportunity. However the world of 1984 is somewhat similar to us. In our world we are often judged by others and we tendency to make the inferior feel worse than they actually are.
The physical interactions between humans in 1984 are almost non existent and with the vast improvements of our technology, it is allowing our interactions to be more web based (like this current moment).
Reading the novel 1984 can be compared of the fascist government that Hitler had created in the 30’s. Both scenarios consisted of complete and full governmental control of the society. One’s thoughts were never safe and everyone always lived in fear of dying.

The attention-grabbing first sentence of your post does draw the attention of the reader. They want to know about this society that is foreign to them. Fearing one's government is not a common sentiment in Western Civilization. Although a good idea, your attention getting sentence is not complete. It leaves the reader feeling like there should be more. Clarifying your ideas with examples that the average person would know (ie. Hitler) really helps convey your ideas. It was a good idea. You might want to explain your ideas more thoroughly though. Overall, I thought this was one of your best posts.
Good Introduction, you have the readers attention early. You made strong points but could add more detail to help your thoughts. Good use of references with Hitler and the online blog comparison to a technologic based society.
Great introduction and conclusion, I like how you link Hitler to the story. Support is strong too. Try to put more thoughts on what did YOU learn from the story instead of all about Hitler. Same thing with conclusion.
Good intro and conclusion. Ideas get through clearly and using hitler to help someone understand and relate to the story really helps.
+ intro good (but I notice the same repetition from your later posts)
+ strong writing voice and structure
- very few direct specifics to the novel
